Sisterhood World Cup 2010
One-in-a-lifetime chance for girls, who are often on the sidelines watching boys and men play soccer, to not only show their prowess to football through a World Cup format but also talk to the world about life topics such as HIV and AIDS, values, security and sexual violence throughout the available media and their own community. Through training, about 200 girls will improve their soccer skills and also act as leaders in reaching more than 1 million Kenyan girls locally, and even a greater number worldwide, transforming this into a network of girls saying “NO”.
